CS Recruiting, a Hirewell company, seeks a Freight Forwarding Sales Representative to drive new international airfreight/seafreight sales. The role can be on-site in Des Plaines, IL or remote across the Midwest/South with national scope, requiring strong client development and quota attainment.

You will build quotes, manage relationships, and participate in regular sales planning and training to exceed quarterly targets while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3–5 years in international logistics sales required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).

Responsibilities

• Develop new international airfreight/seafreight customers.
• Use systems/tools to produce targets and opportunities.
• Develop quotes and proposals for current and prospective customers.
• Manage relationships with and grow sales in existing customers.
• Attend weekly team and individual sales meetings.
• Set Sales Action Plans with activity, opportunity, and revenue goals.
• Participate in regular training sessions for product and market knowledge.
• Work with minimal supervision and stay focused on success.
• Meet or exceed sales goals each calendar quarter.
• Develop Prospecting Action Plans monthly.
• Set weekly goals for prospecting and selling activity.
• Receive outstanding feedback from clients and partners.
• Enhance work environment and culture with excellent performance.
