Job summary

WP Engine is seeking a visionary Principal Global Compensation Manager to design and lead global compensation programs. You will shape cash, bonus, and equity strategies, ensure pay transparency compliance, and align cycles with financial planning in Workday.

You will partner with executives and HR to design scalable job architectures for a distributed workforce and advise on M&A integration and talent decisions. This role is remote-friendly with global impact.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive compensation experience in high-tech/SaaS.
• Hands-on configuration experience in Workday Advanced Compensation.
• Deep knowledge of global compensation structures and regulatory environments.
• Master-level modeling, data analysis, and financial planning skills.
• Proven ability to influence executive leadership and stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, HR, or related field (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Develop, evolve, and lead global cash, bonus, and equity compensation strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Champion global pay transparency readiness including EU/US regulatory requirements.
• Oversee annual global merit, promotion, and equity cycles and align with finance budgets in Workday.
• Support executive compensation design and equity modeling with senior leaders.
• Lead design and evolution of global job architecture, leveling, and geographic salary structures.
• Advise EE Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and executives on compensation decisions.
• Drive compensation due diligence and post-merger integration strategies.
