Job summary

Cast AI, a cloud-native automation company, seeks a senior in-house counsel to own the commercial contracting lifecycle from new-logo deals to renewals. You will work with Sales, Customer Success, Partnerships, and Compliance across the organization, with day-one oversight of APAC legal presence and a path to build contracting infrastructure for a multi-product platform.

You’ll negotiate, draft, and guide NDAs, vendor and reseller agreements, and customer contracts while ensuring GDPR/CCPA

Qualifications

• Requires Juris Doctor degree and active bar membership in good standing.
• Proven experience negotiating SaaS or commercial agreements including NDAs, SLAs, EULAs, and vendor/reseller contracts.
• Strong knowledge of contract law and data privacy law (GDPR, CCPA).

Responsibilities

• Negotiate sales agreements end to end with sales and renewals with customer success.
• Draft, review, and negotiate NDAs, vendor, reseller, and contractor agreements.
• Lead standardization of contracting processes to support multi-product growth.
• Advise on IP matters, software licensing, copyright, and trademarks.
• Coordinate with external counsel on disputes related to commercial agreements.
