Job summary

Centessa Pharmaceuticals, a wholly owned subsidiary of Eli Lilly and Company, seeks a Manager, Clinical Supply Chain to oversee end-to-end planning, execution, and maintenance of uninterrupted clinical supply across programs. You will coordinate with Clinical Operations, CMC, QA, Regulatory, Finance, and external vendors to meet study timelines and budgets.

The role requires 3–5 years in biotech/pharma clinical supply, GMP/GDP knowledge, and a track record with CDMOs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or science is required.
• 3–5 years of biotech/pharma industry experience in clinical supply chain, including international experience, required.
• Working knowledge of clinical supply chain processes and GMP/GDP requirements.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional project teams and external vendors.
• Strong organizational, analytical, decision-making, and interpersonal skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate CDMO activities supporting clinical development of pharmaceutical products.
• Ability to thrive in a small-company culture and contribute to creating and implementing processes.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development and execution of clinical supply strategies for early- to mid-phase trials (Phase 1–3 as applicable).
• Manage clinical supply plans, demand forecasts, and inventory strategies including IRT systems.
• Support packaging, labeling, distribution, and resupply activities for IP and comparators.
• Ensure on-time delivery of clinical supplies to depots and sites globally.
• Collaborate with Quality, Clinical, CMC, and external CDMOs to develop, review, and approve clinical labels.
• Interact with third-party providers to manage logistics and licenses to ship materials.
• Coordinate IP/QP release documentation with CDMO teams.
• Monitor shelf-life and expiry dating; coordinate retest/extension activities.
• Manage investigations from temperature excursions and product complaints.
• Support product recovery activities as needed.
• Represent Supply Chain in meetings and write Pharmacy Manuals as needed.
