Job summary

Centessa Pharmaceuticals, a wholly owned subsidiary of Eli Lilly and Company, seeks a Sr. Clinical Trial Specialist to support planning and execution of clinical studies.

This contract-to-hire role works with the Clinical Trial Manager to ensure site start-up through close-out in line with SOPs, GCP, and regulatory guidelines. The role requires 4+ years in biotech/pharma, GCP knowledge, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required.
• 4+ years of experience in biotech or pharmaceutical environment.
• Experience with clinical sites, PIs, clinical ops staff and CROs a plus.
• Knowledge of GCP for clinical research studies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Independent, detail-oriented, strong problem-solving.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexible and adaptable to business needs, with ability to work from a virtual home office.
• Occasional travel may be required due to international operations across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support the CTM and study team in day-to-day trial management.
• Prepare agendas, minutes, and materials for internal/external meetings; coordinate logistics and travel.
• Manage meeting logistics, agendas, and minutes per SOPs.
• Track purchase orders, invoices, site budgets, investigator payments, CTAs, etc.
• Monitor site metrics and milestones (site initiation, activation, recruitment, dosing days, etc.).
• Maintain study tools for training, recruitment materials, compliance tools, kits, samples, and vendor portal access.
• Support CTM in vendor oversight, including invoice review.
• Assist in review of clinical documentation (ICF, Study Binder, Management Plans, Monitoring plans).
• Manage and maintain study team SharePoint; assist in TMF management and data cleaning before database lock.
