Job summary

Centessa Pharmaceuticals, a wholly owned subsidiary of Eli Lilly and Company, seeks an Inventory Control Manager, Supply Chain contractor to own inventory planning, control, and reconciliation across the outsourced clinical supply network.

You will manage data in IRT/ERP, lead reconciliations with CMOs/3PLs, monitor shelf-life, and ensure uninterrupted trial supply while collaborating with Clinical Operations, QA, and Finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, science, engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years biotech/pharma supply chain experience.
• Experience with external vendors (CMOs/3PLs).
• GMP/GDP in regulated environments.
• Experience with ERP/IRT systems.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain inventory forecasts and stocking strategies.
• Set and monitor min/max levels to prevent stockouts.
• Support resupply planning with Clinical Supply and CMO partners.
• Maintain inventory records across IRT/ERP and ensure data integrity.
• Lead routine reconciliations with CMOs, depots, and 3PLs.
• Monitor shelf-life and coordinate retest/extension activities.
• Manage temperature excursion investigations related to inventory.
• Act as primary contact for inventory-related communication with CMOs, depots, and freight forwarders.
• Track KPIs and report to Supply Chain leadership.
• Identify process improvements to strengthen controls and forecasting.
