Job summary

Apryse is seeking a Global Accounting Operations Specialist to support accounts receivable across its global entities. The role focuses on cash applications, reconciling payments across currencies, and resolving discrepancies, while also gaining exposure to Concur expenses, AP, and sales order reviews in NetSuite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered
• 2–4 years of accounts receivable, cash application, billing, or related experience preferred
• Experience working in a multi-entity or multinational environment preferred
• General understanding of accounting principles, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• NetSuite or other ERP experience strongly preferred
• Salesforce or other CRM experience preferred
• Strong Excel, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage a high volume of transactions and meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across a global Finance organization

Responsibilities

• Process and apply customer payments across global entities, currencies, and bank accounts
• Match remittances to open invoices and ensure payments are recorded accurately
• Research unidentified or unapplied cash and misapplied cash; resolve discrepancies
• Coordinate with AR, Treasury, Accounting and other stakeholders to resolve payment discrepancies
• Monitor and resolve aged unapplied cash and other outstanding items
• Assist with cash and accounts receivable reconciliations
• Perform finance review of employee expenses through Concur
• Ensure expenses are coded correctly with required approvals and policies
• Identify and resolve exceptions or unusual transactions and escalate as needed
• Support month-end close and journal entries related to cash and AR
• Identify opportunities to improve and automate AR processes and documentation
