Job summary

Alcon is seeking a Glaucoma Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist to cover the Greater Charlotte and Western North Carolina region, including Charlotte and Asheville. You will build partnerships with ophthalmologists, optometrists and key accounts, driving product adoption through clinical education and consultative selling.

The role is remote and field-based, requiring residence within the territory and frequent travel.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
Fluent reading, writing and speaking of English.
At least 2 years of relevant sales experience.
Willingness to travel 100% and reside in North Carolina territory.
Healthcare/eye care experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Drive territory growth and achieve sales objectives through strategic planning and account management.
Develop and maintain trusted relationships with ophthalmologists, optometrists and healthcare providers.
Educate customers on Alcon glaucoma portfolio and support product adoption.
Execute territory business plans to grow, optimize and protect key accounts.
Conduct regular in-person visits and deliver educational programs and events.
Identify growth opportunities through market trends and customer needs.
Collaborate with Medical Science Liaisons, Market Access, Marketing and Regional Sales Leadership.
Use data and insights to craft account strategies and improve engagement.
Manage a dispersed territory with travel and customer-facing activity.
