Job summary

Alcon, the global leader in eye care, seeks a Division Manager, Pharmaceutical Sales to lead the Glaucoma and Dry-eye district across Connecticut and surrounding areas of New York in a remote, field-based leadership capacity.

This role requires coaching, strategy development, and performance leadership to drive commercial execution and product adoption while partnering with Marketing, Market Access, Sales Training, and Operations to deliver growth and excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of directly related experience.
• Fluent reading/writing/listening in English.
• 5 Years of Relevant Experience.
• 3 Years of Demonstrated Leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Pharmaceutical Sales Specialists to achieve district sales objectives.
• Conduct regular field coaching to strengthen selling skills and customer engagement.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, and retain top sales talent while fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture.
• Develop and execute district business plans to drive market share, revenue growth, and performance against sales targets.
• Analyze territory and district trends and implement strategic actions to improve results.
• Partner with Marketing, Market Access, Sales Training, Operations, and Commercial Leadership for alignment.
• Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, KOLs, and strategic stakeholders.
• Support product launch readiness and execution while driving adoption of current and future products.
• Effectively manage district budgets, resources, and priorities to maximize ROI.
• Utilize data and market insights to make sound business decisions and optimize district performance.
