Job summary

JustMarkets is seeking a GL Accountant Lead to oversee global accounting processes, drive timely period closes, and ensure IFRS and local compliance across regions. You will lead a small team, coordinate intercompany activity, and partner with external auditors and tax providers to strengthen financial controls.

You will optimize processes, leverage ERP and Excel, and mentor staff to deliver accurate financial reporting in a fast-paced, multinational environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience with senior GL roles.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and application to daily accounting.
• Experience with month-end close processes and reconciliations.
• Experience coordinating audits and statutory reporting.
• Excellent analytical and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Month-End Close for assigned entities with timely completion.
• Review Trial Balances, reconciliations, accruals, depreciation, intercompany entries.
• Ensure IFRS and local accounting/tax compliance.
• Coordinate statutory audits and PBC requests with external auditors.
