Job summary

Snowflake seeks a highly experienced GL Accounting Manager to support global corporate accounting. You will own end-to-end close processes, apply strong technical accounting judgment, and partner across Finance, Engineering, Product and Legal to optimize transactions and automate workflows.

You will ensure US GAAP compliance, maintain SOX controls, and drive scalable processes in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with Tax, Treasury and Statutory Reporting for intercompany initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Active CPA license highly preferred.
• 7+ years of intercompany, cost, or public accounting experience.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SOX internal controls.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Workday, SAP, Oracle Fusion.
• Advanced Excel skills; SQL experience a plus.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end and quarter-end close procedures for assigned areas.
• Evaluate complex, non-routine transactions and translate into scalable processes.
• Partner with Strategic Finance, Engineering, Product, GTM, Revenue Accounting and Technical Accounting on new offerings and analyses.
• Manage intercompany activities across legal entities per intercompany agreements.
• Coordinate with Legal, Tax, Treasury, and Statutory Reporting for compliance and controls.
• Leverage AI-powered tools to automate accounting workflows.
• Maintain accounting policies and SOX controls; ensure audit readiness.
