Job summary

Marmon Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee global accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting. You will manage GL activities, month-end close, and intercompany processes across US, UK, and Italy.

You will lead a team of up to five accountants, coordinate internal and external audits, and drive continuous improvement in controls and automation. Strong Sage/AS400 experience is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial reporting, month-end close, and internal controls.
• Familiarity with US GAAP and international accounting requirements.
• Proven ability to lead a small accounting team and coordinate audits.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close to ensure timely reporting.
• Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and international requirements.
• Review balance sheet accounts and income statement variances; maintain policies and controls.
• Coordinate accounting activities across US, UK, and Italy.
• Supervise up to five accounting professionals; conduct evaluations and development.
• Coordinate internal and external audits; drive process improvements and automation.
• Support currency translation, intercompany reconciliations, and consolidation.
• Serve as key finance user for Sage and AS400; develop reports and tools.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis.
