Job summary

Hitachi Energy USA Inc is seeking an experienced Field Service/Construction Manager to plan, supervise, and coordinate GIS field activities for high‑voltage equipment across the United States. The role focuses on installation, testing, and commissioning in live substations with emphasis on safety and quality.

You will act as on-site liaison to customers and subcontractors, travel extensively (80–90%), and ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of field service or construction management experience.
• Experience supervising erection and testing for HV substations/equipment.
• Valid OSHA 10 certification (or ability to obtain).
• Ability to travel 80-90% to project sites.
• Work authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and coordinate GIS field execution (69kV–550kV) in live environments.
• On-site representative to customers, subcontractors, inspectors, and stakeholders.
• Ensure safety, quality, and schedule compliance during installation and commissioning.
• Document field testing, inspections, and project records.
