The Global Talent Co. is seeking a German-speaking Customer Service Agent (Live Chat) for a fully remote, contract-based role with flexible, demand-based hours. Baseline 20 hours per week, with peak-period scaling.

This fixed-term contract runs through the end of Q4 2026, with potential extension. You will handle German live chat inquiries, resolve issues, and reflect the brand’s tone across written interactions.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native German required; all customer communication in German.
• Experience in ecommerce or online retail helpful.
• Calm under pressure with professional, friendly communication.
• Available for demand-based scheduling around campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer inquiries and complaints via live chat in German.
• Flex during campaign peaks and seasonal spikes.
• Resolve issues with empathy and efficiency, reflecting brand standards.
• Represent the brand voice consistently across all interactions.
• Flag recurring issues to the wider team for improvement.
• Keep records up to date and accurate.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues end-to-end.
