Job summary

Leica Geosystems is seeking a Direct Sales Representative to drive geomatics construction sales across California, Arizona, and Nevada. The role is remote with emphasis on developing and managing opportunities, training users, and coordinating demonstrations on job sites.

The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge of robotic total stations and GNSS, plus leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills to exceed customer expectations. CRM proficiency is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience with robotic total stations and GNSS for construction layout.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
• Extensive knowledge of the construction and surveying industries.
• Working knowledge of Salesforce.com preferred.

Responsibilities

• Increase market share through the development of geomatics construction business with new and existing customers in the region.
• Assist existing customers by providing product and application training; job site demonstrations, installation scheduling, assist in field troubleshooting.
• Provide input on competitive products and activities.
• Develop and implement sales plans and strategies to promote growth of Leica’s geomatics product portfolio and achieve sales targets.
• Manage sales leads through to closure and monitor against approved budgets to ensure financial results are on, or ideally above, target and implement plans to counteract deviations.
• Present and demonstrate Geomatics products and associated benefits for customers and resellers.
