Job summary

MasTec Renewables is seeking a Geomatics Engineer to collect, analyze, and present geospatial data for wind, solar, and renewable projects. You will work under senior engineers, gradually taking on more responsibility as you gain experience in the industry.

The role allows remote work with up to 25% travel across the US, offering exposure to diverse sites and multidisciplinary teams while building expertise in sustainable infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geomatics Engineering, Surveying, Geospatial Science, or related field.
• 1–3 years of geomatics experience for Engineer I.
• 3–5 years of geomatics experience for Engineer II.
• 5+ years and project leadership experience for Engineer III.

Responsibilities

• Conduct topographic, boundary, and environmental surveys using GPS, total stations, and surveying instruments.
• Process and analyze geospatial data to produce maps, models, and reports.
• Develop 3D models and simulations to optimize site layouts and assess environmental impacts.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and land-use laws.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate geospatial data into planning and construction.
