Job summary

MasTec Renewables is seeking Geomatics Engineers to collect, analyze, and present geospatial data for wind, solar, and renewable projects. You will work under senior engineers, gradually taking on more responsibility, with remote work flexibility and up to 25% travel across the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geomatics Engineering, Surveying, Geospatial Science, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in geomatics or a related field for Engineer I.
• 3–5 years of experience for Engineer II; 5+ years for Engineer III.

Responsibilities

• Conduct topographic, boundary, and environmental surveys for sites using GPS and total stations.
• Process and analyze geospatial data to produce maps, models, and reports.
• Assist in developing 3D models and simulations for site layouts and impacts.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and land use laws.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate geospatial data into planning and construction.
• Participate in client meetings to provide geospatial insights for site selection and design.
• Maintain and advance technical skills in geospatial applications.
