Job summary

Davies North America is seeking a General Liability Claims Representative to manage complex liability and property claims from home-based settings in the United States. You will supervise investigations, negotiate with contractors, public adjusters, and attorneys, and maintain reserves while reporting to management.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years of CGL claims experience and hold an adjuster license (NY preferred or willing to obtain).

Qualifications

• 5-7 years' experience handling commercial general liability claims.
• Adjuster license required—NY preferred or willingness to obtain additional licenses.
• Proactive, independent, dependable, and takes initiative with consistent follow through.
• Superb written and verbal communication skills with diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and settle large exposure CGL and property claims.
• Prepare written status and large loss reports for clients.
• Interpret routine and complex policy contracts and coverage.
• Attend mediations and settlement conferences as necessary.
• Direct and monitor defense counsel to settle litigated claims.
• Provide monetary authority and strategy to counsel to protect client’s funds.
