Job summary

Davies North America is seeking an experienced General Liability adjuster to resolve claims through investigating losses and negotiating settlements for casualty claims. This is a desk position and requires knowledge of the standard general liability policy.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years Commercial claims handling experience that includes bodily injury required.
• Multi-line Adjuster's license.
• Experience as a Casualty Adjuster.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
• Able to type own reports and other correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Establish timely contact with all claim parties and gather facts.
• Assess coverage and identify issues.
• Determine liability for third-party claims.
• Document damages and manage inspections.
• Handle bodily injury and litigated claims.
• Review, accept/reject, and tender claims.
• Oversee field assignments for timely inspections.
• Maintain claim diaries and correspondence.
