Job summary

Blattner Company is expanding its energy construction leadership into gas power generation. This role leads the estimating process, reviews plans and vendor proposals, and develops accurate time, cost, and labor estimates to support bids.

You'll ensure scope, schedule, and bid pricing align with requirements, build a plan for project sequencing, and prepare level one schedules while evaluating subcontractors and ensuring competitive, responsible proposals.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Construction, Engineering, or related field; or combinations of related education and experience.
• Two+ years of progressive related experience in Gas Powered Generation field or four+ years of practical crew based estimating experience in other construction industries.
• Up to 25% of travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the estimating process for proposals and ensure all RFP requirements are met.
• Review plans, drawings, specifications, and vendor proposals to develop accurate time, cost, and labor estimates.
• Evaluate subcontractor quotes and related documentation to ensure competitive, responsible bids.
• Ensure that scope, schedule, and bid pricing are aligned and complete.
• Develop a level one project schedule and crew/resource plan for sequencing and productivity.
