Job summary

Blattner in Avon, Minnesota, is expanding its energy construction leadership into gas power generation. This role guides the estimating process to deliver accurate time, cost, and labor estimates while ensuring bid scope and schedule alignment.

You’ll review plans, drawings, specifications, and vendor quotes; issue RFPs to qualified vendors; and prepare a level one schedule to size crews and resources. Travel up to 25% is required and a four-year degree or equivalent experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Construction, Engineering or related field, or combinations of related education and experience.
• Two or more years in Gas Powered Generation or four+ years estimating experience in construction.
• Up to 25% travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead estimating process and ensure proposals meet technical and RFP requirements.
• Review plans, drawings, specifications, and vendor proposals for accurate estimates.
• Evaluate subcontractor quotes and develop time, cost and labor estimates.
• Ensure scope, schedule, and bid pricing are aligned and complete.
