Job summary

National Seating & Mobility, Inc. is seeking a Funding Specialist to support the funding cycle for durable medical equipment.

The role emphasizes compliance, documentation quality, and timely funding approvals, working largely from home with occasional office requirements. You will collaborate with referral sources, physicians, therapists, and clients; gather and review necessary LMNs, RTS data, and price lists; communicate payer requirements; and assist in coaching staff to achieve high

Qualifications

• Has 3+ years of experience related to Durable Medical Equipment funding and/or complex rehab technology.
• Experience with insurance guidelines to secure funding for DME/CRT.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; ability to read and interpret reports and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains knowledge of DME policies and payer requirements.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and funding procedures.
• Coordinate with Referral sources, Physicians, Therapists, RTSs, Clients to gather documentation for funding packages.
• Support Funding team remotely and in-office as needed; communicate with stakeholders to secure documentation and funding.
• Mentor and guide staff to achieve goals and improve funding processes.
