Job summary

National Seating & Mobility seeks a senior leader to oversee all functions of the Funding Department, guiding a leadership team and a group of Funding Specialists. The role coordinates with DVPs, RADs, and branch leadership to ensure funding procedures meet policy and timeframes.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years in complex rehab technology funding, experience managing at least 10 direct reports, and strong skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Complex Rehab Technology Funding operations.
• 2 years of experience managing a minimum of 10 direct reports.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to review, analyze and interpret general business reports, technical procedures, work instructions and governmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the Funding Department timeline from Ready to Process to Funding Approval to ensure timely and high-quality funding.
• Leads the Funding Specialist Team through coaching, training, performance management and career development.
• Develops and maintains training materials, guides and progress reporting.
• Manages the Funding Leadership Team to achieve self-sufficient performance management.
• Monitors productivity and quality of Funding Specialists and Lead Funding Specialists.
• Ensures timely work orders and compassionate handling of assignments; allocates coverage as needed.
• Shares KPIs with direct reports and stakeholders regularly.
• Manages payroll/administrative functions for direct reports.
• Maintains ongoing professional development related to policies, procedures and payer updates.
