Job summary

Tobii Dynavox is seeking a Manager, Funded Billing & Collections to lead operations across funded insurance collections, adjustments, denials, and write-offs. You will drive performance, governance, and cross-functional collaboration with Funding, Billing, Finance, and Compliance to optimize cash flow and accuracy.

This remote role requires occasional travel to the Pittsburgh area. The ideal candidate has healthcare revenue cycle expertise, strong leadership, and a track record of improving

Qualifications

• Minimum a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or equivalent.
• Minimum of four years of progressive healthcare revenue cycle, medical collections, or accounts receivable experience, including at least two years in people leadership or team-lead responsibility.
• Experience in Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance, patient receivable, denial, and reimbursement environments.
• Experience with durable medical equipment billing, prior authorization, payer funding requirements, contractual adjustments, and write-offs preferred.
• Strong understanding of healthcare collections, payer follow-up, denials, appeals, and COB.
• Ability to interpret operational and financial data, identify trends, and drive action.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily and monthly Funded Collections operations, set priorities, balance workloads, and meet cash and aging goals.
• Establish clear performance expectations, routines, and accountability for collectors and leads.
• Identify barriers to collectability and implement corrective action plans.
• Oversee adjustments and write-offs with standardized processes and documentation checks.
• Drive denial management, appeals, and performance improvements across payers.
• Collaborate across Funding, Billing, Finance, Accounting, Customer Service, Compliance, Sales, and Technology to optimize end-to-end processes.
