Job summary

Tobii Dynavox is seeking a remote Funded Collections Manager to lead the funded collections operations, governance of adjustments and write-offs, and denial/appeal performance across Medicare, Medicaid, payer contracts, and patient receivables. This role partners with Funding, Billing, Finance, Accounting, and Compliance to optimize cash flow and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of four years of progressive healthcare revenue cycle, medical collections, or accounts receivable experience, including at least two years in people leadership or team-lead responsibility.
• Experience in complex Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance, patient receivable, denial, appeal, and reimbursement environments.
• Experience with durable medical equipment billing, prior authorization, payer funding requirements, contractual adjustments, and write-offs preferred.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, coaching, and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily and monthly Funded Collections operations, set priorities, balance workloads, and meet cash, aging, denial, and quality targets.
• Oversee adjustments and write-offs with standardized processes and proper documentation.
• Drive denial, appeal, and receivable performance improvements with data analysis and payer collaboration.
• Create and enforce policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance and audit readiness.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives with Technology on workflow, reporting, and automation.
• Build and mentor a high-performing, cross-functional team with clear goals and development plans.
