GovCIO is hiring a Senior Full Stack Java Developer to support the USPS ARIS program. The role is fully remote within the United States and requires a Public Trust clearance. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications, build RESTful APIs, and deploy cloud-native solutions on AWS using Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years in Java development and 3 years of full-stack experience.
• Expert in Java, J2EE, and Spring Framework.
• Experience with Oracle DB and Hibernate within Spring.
• Proven RESTful API development expertise.
• Extensive AWS experience and cloud-native architectures.
• Strong Kubernetes, microservices, and Kafka experience.
• Git version control and Jenkins CI/CD familiarity.
• Playwright test automation experience and Agile/Version One knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack apps using Java and Spring.
• Build RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems with Kafka.
• Develop cloud-native solutions on AWS with Kubernetes and containers.
• Support modernization, migration, and legacy integration efforts.
• Implement automated testing strategies, including Playwright-based tests.
• Establish CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices with Jenkins.
• Collaborate in an Agile environment and participate in code reviews.
