Job summary

CVS Health is offering a two-year Infrastructure Software Engineering Program (ISEP) for aspiring automation engineers in a fully remote role, preferably local to the East Coast due to business needs. You will learn to code, work in Agile/XP environments, and contribute to AI-driven initiatives within a Fortune 6 company.

The program emphasizes hands-on training, mentorship, and real project work across IT Security, Automation, Cloud, and Data.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in a relevant IT position.
• 6+ months of AI/ML, GenAI, and agent development.
• 6+ months of experience programming, developing, or coding.
• Bachelor's degree preferred for some roles.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the support of existing applications and development efforts.
• Write high-quality code compliant with enterprise regulations.
• Collaborate with business analysts and product owners to understand priorities.
• Analyze and improve the efficiency of various systems and services.
• Proactively monitor industry trends and identify opportunities to implement new technologies.
• Create and execute test scenarios/plans for new and changed components.
• Share knowledge openly with IT personnel.
• Troubleshoot problems identified by users.
• Use automation tools like Ansible, Jenkins, etc. for automation use cases.
• Work within Agile, XP, Kanban delivery frameworks.
