Job summary

Conexon is a rapidly growing telecommunications company partnering with Rural Electric Cooperatives to design and deploy FTTH networks. We are seeking a Service and Installation Supervisor for the Florida Panhandle area, with a remote work option and full-time schedule.

Responsibilities include hiring/training, leading technicians, tool/equipment oversight, reporting, and coordination of storm restoration and commercial installs. Travel within the region is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• 3+ years in fiber optic ISP operations or construction.
• Strong PC and Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to use optical test equipment including fusion splicers and OTDRs.
• Safely operate a company vehicle.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Initiative to work remotely with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Hire and train personnel on service and installation processes.
• Provide leadership to Connect Fiber Optic Technicians.
• Ensure field personnel have necessary tools and equipment.
• Maintain inventory for CPE and installation materials.
• Oversee fleet vehicles and maintenance.
• Manage service technician scheduling.
• Develop service and install reporting dashboards.
• Complete end-of-day reporting requirements.
• Manage storm restoration service processes.
• Coordinate with OSP Construction for troubleshooting.
• Assist with Connect commercial installations and scheduling.
• Support Connect Complete projects and client relations.
