Job summary

SMX is seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer - Front End Web Application to contribute to the Budget and Spend (BAS) solution. This remote role supports a Washington, DC based customer and requires a Public Trust clearance.

You will build enterprise web applications using SAP Analytics Cloud and standard web technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS), develop interactive UI/UX components, and collaborate across teams to optimize performance, accessibility, and scalability while adhering to

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field (Software Engineering, Web Development) or equivalent job experience.
2 years of software engineering experience with front-end web technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS).
Understanding of JavaScript intricacies and REST APIs, JSON/XML data formats.

Responsibilities

Build enterprise front-end web applications using SAP Analytics Cloud or other web technologies.
Review requirements and interface designs.
Develop and implement highly interactive UI/UX components.
Monitor and improve front-end performance.
Document application changes and updates.
Provide feedback on UI/UX feasibility of designs.
Optimize applications for scalability and speed.
