Job summary

SMX is seeking a Software Engineer - Front End Web Applications to design, build, support, and implement the BAS solution. This remote role supports a Washington, DC based customer and requires a Public Trust clearance.

The position focuses on SAC Analytics Designer and SAP Analytics Cloud with modern web technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS). You will work with an agile team to deliver interactive UI components and optimize performance across scalable web apps.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
5+ years of front-end web development experience (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS).
Experience with REST APIs and data formats (XML, JSON).
Strong OO design and debugging skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team; excellent communication.
U.S. citizenship and Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

Build enterprise planning and reporting apps using SAC or other web technologies.
Review requirements and interface designs; implement interactive UI/UX components.
Monitor and improve front-end performance; optimize for scalability and speed.
Document changes and updates; participate in code reviews.
