Job summary

SMX is seeking a Software Engineer - Front End Web Application to contribute to the Budget and Spend (BAS) solution. This remote role supports a Washington, DC based customer and requires a Public Trust clearance.

You will build enterprise planning and BI apps using SAP Analytics Cloud and standard web technologies, develop interactive UI components, and optimize performance while collaborating with a cross-functional team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of software engineering experience in front-end web technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS).
• Experience with REST APIs and data formats like XML and JSON.
• Strong OO programming/design, debugging, and independent work ability.
• U.S. citizenship and Public Trust clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Build enterprise planning and reporting apps using SAC or other web technologies.
• Develop and implement interactive UI/UX components.
• Review requirements, design interfaces, and optimize performance.
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with team.
