Job summary

SMX is seeking a Software Engineer - Front End Web Applications to contribute to the BAS solution, building and enhancing interactive web UI for a cloud SaaS BI platform. This remote role supports a Washington, DC-based customer and requires Public Trust clearance.

You will design, develop, and optimize front-end components, collaborate with product and back-end teams, and ensure scalable, performant web applications across diverse datasets and APIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Experience with REST APIs and data formats (XML, JSON)
• Strong OOP/design and web development/debugging skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Public Trust
• U.S. citizenship required for clearance
