SMX is seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer - Front End Web Application to contribute to the Budget and Spend solution. This remote role supports a Washington, DC based customer and requires a Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• BS in CS or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 2 years front-end web tech experience: JavaScript, HTML5, CSS.
• Experience consuming/creating REST APIs and data formats like XML/JSON.
• Strong OO thinking and debugging.

Responsibilities

• Build enterprise planning and reporting apps using SAC or web tech.
• Review requirements and interface designs.
• Develop and implement highly interactive UI/UX components.
• Monitor and improve front-end performance.
• Document application changes and developing updates.
• Provide feedback on the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Optimize web applications for scalability and speed.
• Participate in code reviews and communicate effectively with team members.
