Job summary

SMX is seeking a Software Engineer – Front End Web Application to design, build, and support the BAS web app. This remote role supports a Washington, DC based customer and requires Public Trust clearance.

You will develop interactive UI components and optimize performance in a fast-paced, security-focused environment. You will work with SAP Analytics Cloud and standard web technologies to deliver scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of front-end web engineering using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS.
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON/XML data formats, and API consumption.
• Strong OO design, debugging, and teamwork abilities.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front-end UI/UX components for BAS web app.
• Participate in code reviews and optimize performance.
• Collaborate with team to translate requirements into features.
• Document changes and support deployments.
