Job summary

SMX is seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer - Front End Web Application to design, build, support, and implement the BAS solution for a Washington, DC based customer. This remote role requires a Public Trust clearance.

You'll develop interactive UI components using SAC Analytics Designer or standard web technologies, review requirements, and optimize front-end performance while collaborating with the team on scalable features.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in CS or related field.
• 2 years front-end web development with JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS.
• Experience crafting REST APIs, data formats like XML/JSON and client-side debugging.

Responsibilities

• Build enterprise planning and reporting apps using SAC or web tech such as JavaScript.
• Review requirements and interfaces and implement interactive UI components.
• Monitor front-end performance and assist in code reviews.
