Job summary

ASRC Federal Holding Company is seeking a full-time Front-End Developer to join ASRC Agile Decision Sciences remotely. You will design, develop, and maintain geospatial web apps, leveraging Vanilla JavaScript and ArcGIS API 4.x to support critical workflows.

You will collaborate with GIS analysts, back-end developers, and data specialists to ensure seamless spatial data integration. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in CS, Geography, or related fields and at least four years of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Geography, or a related field.
• Minimum of four years of professional experience.
• Strong JavaScript coding skills with modular, clean code.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain front-end geospatial web applications using a Vanilla JavaScript architecture.
• Implement and customize mapping functionalities with ArcGIS JavaScript API 4.x to project specs.
• Collaborate with back-end developers, GIS analysts, and data specialists to integrate spatial data and services.
• Troubleshoot and optimize application performance, usability, and map rendering behaviors for a smooth user experience.
• Support MS SQL Server ETL processes by understanding and modifying data pipelines.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural planning, and development best practices to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Prepare comprehensive technical documentation covering workflows, data processes, and system configurations.
