Job summary

Cobec, Inc. in Washington, DC, is seeking a mid-level GIS Developer to support FAA geospatial solutions using ESRI ArcGIS platform. You'll build ArcGIS Online apps such as Experience Builder, Dashboards, Field Maps, Survey123, and automate data workflows with Python/SQL.

The role requires 4–6 years' GIS/web development experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and U.S. citizenship or eligible status. A Master’s degree is preferred. Remote work option available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geospatial sciences or related field.
• 4–6 years of GIS/web development, operations research, modeling or technical analysis.
• Experience with FAA or aviation industry is a plus.
• Experience building ArcGIS Online apps and ETL workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop and configure ArcGIS Online applications, including Experience Builder, Dashboards, and Survey123.
• Create and maintain automated data processing workflows and ETL routines using Python/SQL.
• Design ArcGIS Survey123 forms for field data collection and integrate results into GIS solutions.
• Design relational database structures (e.g., PostgreSQL/PostGIS) to store spatial and non-spatial data.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, document processes, and present analysis results.
