Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Mid-level Front End Developer to join our team remotely. The role requires a Secret clearance, a related bachelor’s degree, and several years of front-end experience with Angular or React and TypeScript.

You will design GUIs, wireframes, and mockups, optimize navigation, and support cloud/containerized deployments in a DoD DevSecOps context. The position collaborates with PMO and stakeholders to define requirements, develop functional models, and document tests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's may substitute for 2 years experience.
• Secret clearance or higher required.
• 7 years of software development experience with DevSecOps, microservices and containers.
• Experience with testing systems and documenting operability against standards.
• 3 years with Jira.
• 3 years testing web-based applications.
• 3 years in software development programs or projects.
• 3 years' experience using TypeScript in Angular or React.
• Cloud and containerized environments experience.
• 5 years with Jenkins and GitLab.
• Experience with at least five of the listed tools.

Responsibilities

• Front-end design and development including design drawings, mockups, and documentation.
• Plan and implement modifications to GUIs and optimize navigation and UX.
• Build and optimize UI elements for user-facing features.
• Support process improvement and requirements definition for PMO and stakeholders.
