Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Mid-level Front End Developer to join our team. This role provides subject matter proficiency and supports process improvement, with duties including technical design, mockups, wireframes, and documentation for PMO and stakeholders.

The position is remote and requires an active Secret clearance. Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's degree, 7 years of software development experience, TypeScript in Angular or React, and cloud/container experience with Kubernetes or Docker.

Qualifications

• Secret clearance or higher required.
• A bachelor's degree in related field required. A master's degree may substitute for 2 years of experience.
• 7 years of software development experience in object-oriented and scripted languages with DevSecOps, microservices, and containers.
• Experience in preparing, conducting, and documenting system tests to verify operability and compliance.
• 3 years of experience with Jira.
• 3 years of experience testing web-based applications.
• 3 years of experience participating in software development projects.
• 3 years' experience utilizing TypeScript in Angular or React.
• Experience with cloud environments and containerized environments like Kubernetes or Docker.
• Experience integrating data from unclassified to classified deployment.
• 5 years of experience with Jenkins and GitLab.
• 5 years of experience with at least five tools (NPM, Cypress.io, esbuild, Bun, Apache Tomcat, Maven, SonarQube).
• 3 years of front-end web design and development experience.
• Experience with agile, user-centric application design and UI/UX standards.
• Experience generating wireframes and mockups for multiple user personas.
• Experience using UX design tools (Sketch, InVision).

Responsibilities

• Perform front-end design and development tasks including technical design drawings, mockups, and wireframes.
• Plan and implement modifications to GUIs and optimize UI elements.
• Improve system navigation and user experience for new features.
• Develop and document procedures and architectures for PMO and stakeholders.
