Job summary

Novogradac & Company LLP is seeking a Junior Real Estate Analyst to conduct market research and analysis for the Valuation Services Department. You will gather data, perform market studies, and analyze economic trends, reporting to a Manager or Principal.

The role requires office presence for the first four months with possible flexible arrangements thereafter. You’ll work on interviews with housing authorities, developers, and brokers, and draft market study reports for designated properties,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related area with 1–2 years of Real Estate research or market analysis experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for primary research and narrative writing.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage a fast-paced workload with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct economic and market research via interviews and online resources.
• Identify subsidized, tax credit, and market-rate comparables.
• Perform market analysis, rent surveys, and demand analysis.
• Draft market study reports including primary market area and comparable properties.
• Assist in appraisals of real estate developments and analyze housing market trends.
• Complete Novogradac’s Affordable Housing Training within the designated timeframes.
