Job summary

Novogradac is seeking a Junior Analyst Intern to perform multifamily real estate market research and analysis within the Valuation Services Department. You will collect market data, aid in market analysis, and analyze economic trends for designated regions under supervision.

You will conduct interviews, gather property-level information, and contribute to market studies and appraisals of developments while developing strong research and reporting skills.

Qualifications

• In progress toward a bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Experience in real estate research, multifamily market analysis or commercial appraisal is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct basic economic and locational market research via interviews and online resources.
• Perform apartment property interviews, market analysis, surveys and demand analysis.
• Conduct phone interviews with housing authorities, planners and chambers to identify market demand.
• Interview apartment property managers to gather market conditions.
• Gather information on new multifamily developments by speaking to developers and reviewing media.
• Request information from appraisers/brokers on comps.
• Analyze demographics and economic trends related to affordable housing demand.
• Assist in writing market studies and appraisals for proposed and existing developments.
• Assist with other duties and projects as assigned.
