The role requires building data and communicating findings clearly. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree and 1–2 years of real estate research or appraisal experience, with strong Excel and word-processing skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related area plus 1–2 years of Real Estate research, market analysis, or commercial appraisal experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable performing primary and web-based research and synthesizing it into narrative form.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct economic and market research regarding market areas via telephone interviews and internet resources.
• Identify subsidized, tax credit and market rate comparables.
• Perform preliminary property screenings, market analysis, rents surveys, and demand analysis.
• Gather and analyze information on new developments by speaking to developers and researching sources; draft market study reports.
