Prestige Logistics LLC is seeking a motivated Freight Broker Assistant to join our growing team. This remote role offers exposure to sourcing, negotiating, and booking carrier loads while supporting experienced brokers in a fast-paced environment.

You will track shipments, communicate with carriers and shippers, maintain the TMS, assist with rate quotes, and help with billing. Louisville, KY-based company with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior freight brokerage or logistics experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment.
• Proficiency with MS Office; TMS is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Support freight brokers in sourcing, negotiating, and booking carrier loads.
• Track and trace shipments to ensure on-time pickup and delivery.
• Communicate with carriers and shippers to resolve freight issues and provide updates.
• Maintain and update the Transportation Management System (TMS) with accurate load data.
• Assist with rate quotes, load confirmations, and carrier paperwork.
• Build and maintain relationships with carriers to grow the available carrier network.
• Support billing and invoicing processes by verifying load documentation.
