Job summary

PayMitto, LLC is seeking an Operations Analyst to join the Fraud, Compliance, and Client Support team. The role is cross-trained across fraud analysis, compliance screening, and client support, with deployment where the queue needs you most.

This REMOTE position allows work from home with a company laptop provided. Candidates nationwide (National Capital Region preferred for occasional in-person meets) are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in financial crimes, fraud, BSA/AML, sanctions, or payments/support operations.
• Working knowledge of fraud typologies (AFT, ATO), OFAC screening, and BSA/AML requirements.
• Comfort using AI tools like Claude and integrating AI agents into workflows.

Responsibilities

• Triage and investigate fraud alerts, taking action to limit exposure.
• Decide sanctions screening and BSA/AML TM alerts within the fraud platform.
• Document investigations for audit readiness and enforcement reporting.
• Handle Tier 1 client and partner support via email and Zendesk.
• Coordinate RFIs and cross-team collaboration for fraud/compliance workflows.
• Identify gaps and tuning opportunities in screening and monitoring tools.
• Support AI agent development and automations; adapt to volume shifts.
