Job summary

Affirm seeks a senior Analytics professional to own fraud performance for depository products, with a focus on monitoring losses, approval rates, and false positives. You will develop data models, dashboards, and monitoring frameworks to provide clear visibility into risk and portfolio health.

You will lead fraud strategy, rules, and model testing, partnering with Product, Engineering, ML, Data Engineering, Fraud Operations and Risk to drive updates that balance loss prevention with customer

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Analytics experience.
• Fluent in SQL and Python.
• Working knowledge of payment processing fundamentals and fraud risk trends.
• Ability to partner with product, engineering, ML and risk teams.

Responsibilities

• Own fraud performance for depository products, monitoring losses, approvals, false positives and customer friction.
• Build and maintain scalable data models and transformations using DBT to standardize data.
• Define fraud metrics, dashboards, and monitoring frameworks for portfolio health and risks.
• Lead testing and evaluation of fraud strategies and collaborate with product, engineering and risk teams.
