Affirm is seeking a seasoned Fraud Analytics leader to own the performance of fraud measures for depository products, monitoring losses, approval rates, false positives, and customer friction. The role partners with Product, Engineering, ML, Data Engineering, and Fraud Operations to refine identity verification and fraud processes and to improve the overall fraud solution.

Formación

• 7+ years of Analytics experience.
• Strong SQL and Python proficiency.
• Ability to translate data findings into actionable insights.
• Experience working cross-functionally across Product, Engineering, ML, Data Eng and Fraud Ops.
• Understanding of payment processing risk and fraud strategies.
• Excellent communication of complex analyses to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsabilidades

• Own fraud performance metrics for depository products, including losses, approval/decline rates, false positives, and customer friction.
• Build and maintain scalable data models and transformations using DBT and related tooling.
• Define trusted fraud performance datasets and dashboards for portfolio health and risk trends.
• Develop and test fraud rules, policies, thresholds, and model updates with pre/post evaluation.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, ML, Data Eng, Fraud Ops, and Risk to improve fraud strategies and product launches.
