Job summary

Massage Envy is seeking a Franchise Business Consultant to support independently owned Massage Envy locations within the Minneapolis market. The role focuses on operational reviews, franchisee relations, and alignment with brand standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

You will travel up to 75% to visit locations, participate in market planning, and present progress to leadership. A bachelor’s degree is preferred and strong analytical/communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years in the franchise industry and multi-unit leadership
• 5+ years of prior business ownership or business consulting experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to travel as required to meet with franchisees, visit franchised locations, and/or other business necessities (up to 75%)
• Strong communication and relationship skills
• Solid business acumen, including financial statement fluency.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to exercise judgment and act independently.
• Competent in conflict management.
• Ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Conduct operational standards reviews at each franchised location, including appropriate documentation and follow-up.
• Communicate and champion corporate initiatives to encourage franchisee adoption and execution within their franchised locations through monthly franchisee meetings, regular market email communications, and individual outreach as needed.
• Timely review of all communications and other relevant documents to develop a strong knowledge base of all Franchised Support Center policies, programs, promotions, strategies, and initiatives.
• Provide support and resources to franchisees to help franchisees better understand and/or improve their revenues, profitability, and other aspects of their operations, while maintaining a clear understanding that franchisees are solely responsible for the day-to-day operations of their franchised locations and all employment matters.
• Work with various internal departments on developing and facilitating network programs and initiatives.
• Meet weekly with the Director of Field Operations to supply timely market progress updates and review business development priorities.
• Assist with strategic market planning and site analysis review for all current and future sites by collaborating with the franchise sales team, the Director, and the VP of Field Operations.
• Participate in Annual Franchise Conference and other corporate meetings as assigned.
• Participate in weekly field team calls.
• Ad-hoc projects, special requests, and other duties as assigned.
