Qualifications

• 5+ years of public accounting or audit experience.
• Proficiency in U.S. GAAP, audit procedures, and risk assessment.
• Familiarity with Governmental accounting and Yellow Book standards.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and lookups.
• Hands-on QuickBooks experience and familiarity with audit software.

Responsibilities

• Audit execution and testing across key accounts (cash, AR, AP, revenue, payroll, etc.).
• Prepare comprehensive workpapers and audit reports with findings.
• Assess internal controls and risk to prevent fraud and errors.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
• Interface with clients to gather evidence and clarify requests.
• Collaborate remotely and meet timelines with required updates.
