Job summary

Flip Fractional is seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to own each client’s books from the first transaction to the final financial statements. You’ll categorize, reconcile, close the month and deliver GAAP-compliant financials, using QuickBooks Online to tailor reports for clients.

This US-based, remote role requires 3+ years of US accounting experience, GAAP fluency, and payroll reconciliation know-how. You’ll communicate clearly and build scalable processes as the firm grows.

Qualifications

• US accounting experience is required.
• Proven experience preparing GAAP‑compliant financial statements.
• Experience reconciling payroll with major providers (Gusto/ADP/Paychex).
• Ability to explain financial topics in simple language to non-financial people.

Responsibilities

• Categorize transactions accurately and consistently.
• Reconcile monthly bank, credit card, loan, and clearing accounts.
• Own month-end close for each client and deliver on time.
• Prepare GAAP‑compliant P&Ls, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
