Job summary

Fidus is seeking an experienced FPGA Designer to deliver complex FPGA-based systems for clients. You will work with customers and internal teams to define architectures, implement RTL, integrate IP, run simulations, and support lab bring-up.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of RTL/Verilog/VHDL experience, strong English communication, and a track record with Xilinx or Intel toolchains. This remote role may involve travel to support engagements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years RTL/Verilog/VHDL FPGA experience.
• Experience with video systems, high-speed memory/bus interfaces, and DSP/processor instantiations.
• Proficient with Xilinx/Altera tool flows and design verification.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex FPGA/CPLD systems including architecture and RTL development.
• Design FPGA-based systems using Xilinx and Intel devices and tools.
• Participate in hardware-software interface design reviews to meet quality standards.
• Perform lab testing, prototype debugging, and support hardware/software engineers as needed.
• Create test plans, design descriptions, and user documentation for customers.
• Provide technical input during pre-sales and project execution phases.
• Offer detailed estimates on project scope, schedule, and deliverables to stakeholders.
